Thought we’d missed the chance to get him out on loan - hope the wages are covered

Just saw that and it confused me before I realised the European transfer windows are still open.

Should be a decent move, takes him off of the wage bill for a year and potentially opens up a future move.

Really can’t imagine DC letting him leave if his wages aren’t being covered by the loan club.

Wonder if a team coming from 3rd tier of German league be able to cover 100% - hope so

Obviously part or all of his wages will be covered so that’s a plus . He isn’t good enough for us , but it’s certainly not his fault Carlos the clown thought he was the best way to spend money we didn’t have in a defender . Good luck joost

Absolute waste of money. His performance against United the other year is one of the worst I’ve ever seen by a player.

Glad he's gone out on loan. Hopefully he will end up going permanently.

All in all a very poor signing considering he was the pick of 200 centre backs!

Good luck Joost.

reiterating what others have said, good move for both parties.

Hopefully a good season out on loan will either allow him to break into the team next year, or get him a permanent move. I think it will be the latter.

Comes across as a good kid, so got the sake of his career I hope this works out.

Yes, and that after apparently looking at 200 CBs.
