adifferentgame
Probably best for him. Can't see him getting a look-in this season and he clearly needs game time. Good luck Joost!
Owly Mowly
Thought we’d missed the chance to get him out on loan - hope the wages are covered
jamthesun
Yep. Right thing for both parties. Good luck lad.
SupremeOwl
Just saw that and it confused me before I realised the European transfer windows are still open. Should be a decent move, takes him off of the wage bill for a year and potentially opens up a future move.

Wonder if a team coming from 3rd tier of German league be able to cover 100% - hope so

james o connor
Obviously part or all of his wages will be covered so that’s a plus . He isn’t good enough for us , but it’s certainly not his fault Carlos the clown thought he was the best way to spend money we didn’t have in a defender . Good luck joost
0114
Absolute waste of money. His performance against United the other year is one of the worst I’ve ever seen by a player.
David1867
Glad he's gone out on loan. Hopefully he will end up going permanently. All in all a very poor signing considering he was the pick of 200 centre backs!

Couldn't agree more but he once knocked a 40 yard pass that had some on here comparing him to John stones

TheSlicer
Good luck Joost. reiterating what others have said, good move for both parties. Hopefully a good season out on loan will either allow him to break into the team next year, or get him a permanent move. I think it will be the latter. Comes across as a good kid, so got the sake of his career I hope this works out.
