I think Wednesday will get a bye and we'll be playing you at New York on Tuesday 27th August. The EFL are losing patience with Dale, the Bury owner, and have to wrap it up soon one way or another.

We're supposed to play Bury in 6 days time and we find out tomorrow if it's on. They only have 9 days to sort out the sale of the club before they are kicked out of the league and listening to 5 Live yesterday they are a way off that. Shame for the fans that a £3m debt could finish them off when 14 miles away Harry Maguire has just arrived for £80m.

What's what other clubs spending got to do with it? You expecting them to bail them out? EE wouldn't help Vodaphone stay in business would they.

Bury today, Bolton tomorrow, who knows next week....Notts County, Wednesday etc etc...we need a mechanism to support the clubs outside the prem before it all falls apart...the money in the prem could do this

Unless we just decide there are too many professional clubs and move on

Bury are being referred to the management of the competition Colette next Wednesday to determine any action for failing to fulfil the fixture against us.

Yes this is a separate meeting from one on 23rd, more than likely we'll be awarded tie then game with rotherham should be ok to go ahead following week.

I was highlighting the difference in income to 2 clubs only 2 leagues apart but an absolute world away in finances. Not good for the game if we end up with a football pyramid consisting of PL 'B' teams rather than professional clubs such as Bury who mean more to a community than any B side could ever. Much more of the money at the top ends needs to trickle down to even things up.
