jamthesun
He comes across really well actually. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2019/august/winnall-joins-championship-podcast/
SallyCinnamon
Feel for Winnall. Really don’t think he’s ever had a fair crack at it here. Now we are playing with one striker even harder for him to try and break into the squad at the minute.
adamnich
yeah just listened to it, he comes across great in it. Maybe he's after a pundit job ;)
bladeshater
Thought we may have moved him on last week
Guest Jack the Hat
There will be a part for him this season for sure. Long season, tough league and he scores a lot of goals with his head, which suits our new winger style of play. I feel more sorry for me having to do a normal job for normal money. Sunderland maybe, but not sure anyone else could.
jomaco
If we're classing forestieri as a left winger-ish/left sided attacker, then what's a good number of strikers to have? I like Winnall, but barring injuries if we stick with one striker it's going to be difficult
mr g 1999
Young Stuart Gray? 'as such'
tarn owl
Might be worth considering sending him on loan to league 1 for 6 months. Hopefully he can shake off the rust there. With Fletch, Fessi, Murphy, Rhodes and Nuhiu. I think we will be fine. Might get back a firing and on form striker for the run in.
Matt_1
Would rather loan him out and pay a chunk of his wages than let him rust in the reserves. Seems liike a good bloke, driven, wants to succeed. Hope he gets a chance soon.
SiJ
Still got too many striker options. At least he seems fairly positive about the whole thing. Got to think he will get his chance at some point. Bit of a bugger that the Bury game is postponed. Firstly and foremostly, because I hope Bury get themselves sorted, but also for the fact that the likes of Winnall, Nando etc.,could do with some minutes on the pitch. Bluesteel
If we need to switch to 2 up front and sacrifice a holding player he’d be the man to go to. He can’t even get a cup game with the Bury situation

Think he’ll hang around for a Championship loan in next window.
handworth52
46 games and often 3 games a week , forestierti ban ,fletcher cant play 3 in a week and there will be other injuries ,so he will get his chance.
