To upgrading the ground to meet specific safety issues

Safety issues that have not been a concern or caused any issues over the vast majority of match in decades and have only arisen due to report commissioned by the SYP, the evidence of which came from the Sheffield derby for which they received criticism for THEIR approach rather than a stadium issue.

But why is it needed - fans have been using the LL entrance and exit for decades. In the 90s rival fans sat together on the lower tier and presumably stood next to each other at half time having a pissh.

that's correct I sat in lower west when we had the 3-3 draw with them ,loads were in lower west , though us and leeds sat together sounds like carnage nowadays

The problem is not going away and there good financial reasons to sort the leppings lane end out

this all just confirms what most of us think , that syp and sag are total idiots with an agenda , there is no way on gods earth that there will be any trouble between lutons 200 supporters and us. are we employing the security firm again to stand in the middle of the road? and trying to stop supporters walking down leppings lane? I even saw them stop 2 90year old men who could hardly walk cant remember if they let them through or not or forced them on a long walk round to north stand , there are businesses on leppings lane what will have lost upto 80% of there takings which is the difference between staying above water or going bust . will the council give them a 50% cut in there business rates to cover there losses due to this totally crazy barmy decision . they sag need to justify what they are doing , if this was just done for Barnsley ,leeds  etc then fair enough but luton on a tues night oh my god.

I’m waiting for the SYP meltdown when Liverpool and Man U turn up at S2

That's a fair, but totally different point to the one being discussed.

SWFC, as a business, can't just say, 'ok we'll give up - any investment, although not necessarily needed, might pay off in future.'

Its relevant to increasing revenue streams and getting out of the e fix we are in, why wouldn't we want to increase the attendance at the away end

don't come with that, next thing is limiting the crowd if they start thinking on those lines.

That will be their next move. They will "moniter " the volume of people flooding out onto pensitone rd , then say its dangerous and cut the capacity even more. Its quite clear what they are up to.

Given that the away end only reaches it's current reduced capacity maybe up to a handful of times a season at most that isn't really a major factor at the moment.

What fixes do you suggest the club put in place to an issue they were confronted with in the last week in June of this year - an issue that had not previously been raised as being a problem before SYP commissioned a report based on negative feedback that they had received from their approach to the Sheffield derby?

Why do we need to increase the away end when it’s rarely full?

When we played Brighton at home in the play off semi, Wednesday fans were on the bottom tier and Brighton fans had the top tier of the away end, there was no issue then, why is it a massive problem all of a sudden?

Both sets of fans entered and left without issue. Weird that innit.

Take it further in the 90's you could buy a ST in the lower tier. That was when we were in the prem & the big teams usually sold out the top. No mention of anything then.

Haven’t really been following the detail on this too much. But could it be possible that SWFC are proactively trying to minimize disruption by only selling additional tickets on the North if necessary?

Rather than breach this stupid Notice and pay the price...or have to shift a bunch of people round on matchday
