Did the stadium tour last year, someone asked the question and we were told DC was considering two sites, one in Attercliffe and another between J34 and J35 of the M1.

Possibly this site just off Wooley Wood?

I think there's loads of room to extend the concourses on the North, Kop and Away end.

Plenty of room.

50 percent walk? I can't believe that.

Said it loads but Neepsend is the perfect location.

Particularly if the rail line between Sheffield and Chap (via Herries Road and Kelham opens)

This would be ideal if we had to move.

Still close enough to Hillsborough to feel like 'home' but also right in the heart of the most up and coming part of the city.

Would attract plenty of new supporters too with the area constantly developing.

Also, loads of brilliant pubs within walking distance.

Buy the land now before it gets snapped up, DC!!

Think that is the old Arthur Lee's steelworks site. Would have to be a substantial improvement in the access roads to the M1 but does have the train line running by from Sheffield to Barnsley via Chap.

We could kick toward the gas holder end first half and the crane end the 2nd

You were actually told that? That must mean it's common knowledge around the club that the plan is to move.

The Hitcat Hippodrome. The seats would slowly revolve, returning you to your original position 90 minutes later. That way, you get to watch the match from every angle. The Hitcat Hippodrome, where dreams are made and made are dreams.

You forgot HT and 10 minutes injury time - 15 if Wednesday are winning

Yes that's what we were told. We were on the subject of ground improvements which would be needed immediately should we get promoted which apparently include a new tunnel (current one too narrow for both teams to walk on together as per Premier League rules) and removing rows from grandstand for more media space.

It would also have the effect of making the teams play in the same direction, relative to you, in both halves.

Was sat queuing to come off 34 Northbound yesterday and thought the old Steelworks site would be an awesome site for a Football Stadium. Especially if you could get a dedicated slip road of the M1.

The downsides were it looks like they’re already prepping the site for more industrial units, and the surrounding area would need a major revamp to make it worthwhile. It might also be the route of the HS2, same with the site at Wooley Wood possibly too? Could be wrong.

I heard the same, also a tv studio between the West and North due to the studio having to be a certain size. Rumoured it would have been flattened had promotion be gained and a office block/tv studio replacing it.
