Would have to be a substantial improvement in the access roads to the M1 but does have the train line running by from Sheffield to Barnsley via Chap. Yes that's what we were told. We were on the subject of ground improvements which would be needed immediately should we get promoted which apparently include a new tunnel (current one too narrow for both teams to walk on together as per Premier League rules) and removing rows from grandstand for more media space. NeonLeon Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Was sat queuing to come off 34 Northbound yesterday and thought the old Steelworks site would be an awesome site for a Football Stadium. Especially if you could get a dedicated slip road of the M1. The downsides were it looks like they’re already prepping the site for more industrial units, and the surrounding area would need a major revamp to make it worthwhile. I heard the same, also a tv studio between the West and North due to the studio having to be a certain size.
