Stendel for the manager job at Hillsborough anyone?

Quite a demand for him to get the job a few weeks ago.

Our fans are ridiculous, glad I don't judge everything on a game by game basis.

They were very close to a hiding when we clicked for a couple of periods in that 2nd half. Looking  forward to seeing us develop. UTO.

I'm asking a question. Lot's of people seem to think he isn't the messiah, instead of criticising our fans why not give a simple answer to the question?

Hmmmm. I think they did really well last season and towards the end we're playing decent football. Outplayed today but they will be learning. There is a basic lack of quality which will find them out but it's Barnsley and they are operating at their limit as a club in this league. Still think their manager might have a career ahead of him

I think Barnsley will finish between 12th and above drop zone. As players get used to what stendel wants they'll improve

Our fans so fickle .. last week we wanted stendel as next manager, now he's throw.

It’s often just a case of different levels of quality. If 2 teams are going at it with intensity and a high work rate, the team with the better quality will usually win.

The problem we had under Carlos, was not matching these teams for intensity and workrate.

It’s a good sign that result today. Promoted teams can be very tricky to play against early in a season.

Still can't believe the calls to poach their manager.

Bizarre.

Not going to lie, I was one of those.

Emphasis on the 'was' after today.

You can’t write the guy off after 1 game.

Fair enough, the bloke has his philosophy and it would be wrong to abandon it, but I can't understand why a manager would persist with the tactics that involve their goalkeeper getting repeatedly tackled. Clearly wasn't working and should have been stopped well before they went two down

If it continues to cost them goals I’m sure he’ll be forced to change things.

Maybe got something to do with 46 league games last season, plus beating Fulham.

But you prefer to judge a teams manager on one game?

Does Bullen get sacked if we lose at Millwall?

Yes and no. If he hasn’t been officially hired then he can’t be sacked. Like when you see that bearded little twerp on The Apprentice telling they are fired.
