Difference is though Son didn't deliberately injure Gomes but he definitely deliberately hacked him down. Whereas in a car accident, most drivers dont deliberately lose control and crash do they. Whoever made that decision is clueless. They went up not being able to defend so it was hardly a surprise that, having not brought in any top level defenders, they are struggling at the back. No doubt they play "nice" football but that doesn't get you very far when you come up against real quality. You'll get away with it 80% of the time in the Championship, but not in the Premier League.
