Owls-Fan 3,823
Joke he fell onto the ball after being fouled. So should be a free kick? Nope, VAR isn’t that clever Edited July 2, 2020 by Owls-Fan

alanharper 32,111
But VAR is anti-them. Shouldn't play restart with a free kick to Spurs for the foul on the player who's hand wouldn't have otherwise touched the ball?
Owls-Fan 3,823
That’s so bad, attacking player gets fouled, falls onto the ball, it rolls to his striker who scores. Goal chalked off and no free kick given. Absolutely amazing
s6 owl 6,321
Tottenhams goal against West Ham the other day came via a deflection of a spurs players arm and yet that goal was allowed to stand. What is the difference?

Alb1owl 151
The single most baffling thing VAR has done. That there was like having a heart attack and being made to stand trial for your own murder.
alanharper 32,111
It's supposed to be a law of the game now, not a VAR rule. But what's the point of introducing a rule that can usually only be applied if VAR scrutinise it looking for a reason to disallow it? Most of the goals I've seen VAR rule out for this, nobody's even seen the handball including the defending team who didn't even appeal. Yet when there's a blatant but soft foul, like them pulling the Villa player's shirt in the box, they have a look and say "well it's not a clear and obvious error".
NorfolkNChance 3,002
Wow that was poor. Spurs look like they can get back into this though pretty easily. Famous last words......

fudge27 2,097
Euros getting delayed could be really helpful to England. Foden, saka, Mount, Abraham, Hudson odoi All getting another year where they should be getting a fair bit of game time. Could force their way into the squad or first XI

Don't think it's good timing for Abraham though, Werner will take his place. I think an extra year will see Pickford lose his place to Ramsdale or Henderson
