Looked like a goal to me. Shouldn't VAR then overrule the goal line technology?

Oh dear, how sad, never mind lol

Don’t think VAR covers the goal line???

What a joke. Surely the boffins at Stockley Park can’t watch that and say fizz all.

He kept the ball pressed against the post, thus the whole of the ball can't possibly have crossed the whole of the line.

The most technical of technicalities.

Surely the technology is not that precise?

Just seen- he’s deffo carried it over. Then moved back to the post.

No he didn't.

there's a split second where he's away from the post but it's impossible to see if the ball is over the line at that point.  It does look like he moves forward though to push the ball against the post.  Really weird one that.  I wonder if the hawkeye lost the ball amongst all the bodies?

Just not bothered...

To be fair- if that was Wednesday I’d be going nuts. How the fizz with VAR and analysing every millimetre can they not see that?

Mental.

I know it’s only good when your team isn’t involved - but isn’t that the good thing about play without VAR.

Gives a talking point.

(although they had VAR)

They’ve not shown the usual silhouette of the ball on the pitch, which makes me think the technology is on the blink.

What a shambles
