Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but if we must play 4-4-2 then it has to be at the expense of Bannan.

                    Dawson

Moses     Lees  Borner   Palmer

               Hutchinson Lee

Reach                                  Harris

             Fletcher  Rhodes

But I hate 4-4-2, we still don't have the athletic, cover every blade of grass midfielder to do it. Besides Barnsley play a 4-2-3-1 with good little triangles. A flat 4-4-2 just isn't the answer. Personally I hope we just match em up, 4-2-3-1 which as we know is a 4-3-3 in attack. We have better players in every position. Go and prove it.

4-2-3-1?

Dawson

Moses, Lees, Borner, Palmer

Hutch, Bannan

Reach, Lee, Harris

Fletcher.

So last week's team except keeper.

Think we should have some presence in midfield with that formation.

Bring Murphy and Rhodes on when they're tiring. And Luongo for Lee.

From what I know of Barnsley they’re full of energy and they overran a strong Fulham side last week.

I’d keep the same team from last week and enjoy the most impressive array of subs we’ve had in a while.

  Lorfa.      Lees.       Borner.     Odubajo

                Lee.          Bannan

Reach.                                       Murphy

                         Harris

                         Fletcher

That's almost as bad as my predictive text team selections.

Unchanged team please (Cammy for KW).

They're no pushovers and we need 3 in midfield. "it's Barnsley not Leeds" is the kind of arrogant sentiment going into this game that did for Fulham... luckily I don't think Bully / players have this mindset

Except against Burton they probably did.

I know we weren't great at Reading but we got the job done. I think it would be sensible to make minimal changes.

There won't be the counter attacking opportunities early on that there were away from home so a player like Reach comes into his own where as Harris may have to be patient.

Why should reach come into his own, its going to be tough out there and he's hardly one to mix it.

Because he has the skills to work in tight spaces and occupy defenders, thus creating space for others.

Sometimes maybe but for me he has a tendency to go missing when the going gets tough, not consistent enough, he does score the odd goal and some screamers too, as you can tell he's not my favourite player but each to their own.
