All contactable via Linked In. Should start to give them some stick and make them feel a little uncomfortable.

Shambolic

Not the platform to be giving people grief on, you just get called negative, they will post an inspiring video in response (normally a 1 legged weight-lifter) and talk about paying it forward. Followed by some back slapping and a few pictures of bring your dog to work day.

The elephant in the room is that the SAG have clearly reduced the capacity below its normal level of 9255 which, as far as I am aware, was not previously restricted. We do not know what the new, temporary capacity is but it would seem it is less than the number of season tickets and ticket sales for tomorrow’s game.

But it do they have the right to deny a ST holder from sitting in their reserved seat?

Yes, I would argue. On saftey grounds. In theroy they could close the stand if its deemed unsafe.

How do Home supporters who travel to the ground by Supertram from either the City centre or from the Middlewood end go on Will they have to disembark at the Hillsborough park stop and cross the park instead of simply going down leppings lane?

It's robably ok going and getting off at the corner. But going to be even more chaotic coming back. It will be full of away fans getting on first.

They ( SYP / SAG) have not offered a proper explanation for their concerns about the alleged unsafe aspect of fans entering the North stand via Leppings Lane.  It's all very 'woolly' and lacking in detail.  It would be interesting to get hold of a copy of this report which has been done and find out what the detailed concerns are.

Anyone got any idea if we can insist that it's made public?

Police commission a report and surprise surprise it comes back and says it’s our fault.

Barnsley fans tomorrow will come out of the away end, walk up to catch bar lane and straight into Wednesday fans coming out of the South Stand. So we’re going to all of this trouble for next to nowt. If the police do their job outside the gates there is no bother- just like 99% of games at Hillsborough.

It’s got all the makings of a farce tomorrow. Some people are not going to be happy. FFS why is this only being dealt with now when they’ve had all of summer?

Baffling that they’ve used a Sheffield Derby, poorly policed or not, as a yard stick for the other 22 league games.

And that the issue is so pressing and a threat to human safety that they have to issue a notice. It’s totally laughable and just frustrating we have to spend money on contesting it.

So...

am i correct in thinking that when Charlton come on a cold wet February evening, bringing enough fans to fit in a people carrier, we will still have to exit via penistone road ?

Or even worse, Barnsley fans will walk up LL to Burger King & meet thousands of Wednesday fans! It'll be obvious they are all Barnsley coming from that direction.

Yeah. Even if we’re 5-0 up at half time and they’ve all gone home by the 75th minute.

Its madness this isn't being handled on a game to game basis.

Couldn't even get the number of years right since the disaster. Says 20 years instead of 30. Shocking journalism.

The article itself is a dig at us, there's no doubt about that.

Wow the Mail can't get the facts right. Surprised people still bother to read it !

Seems that the times are different to the past. Whatever alterations that have been done at the Leppings Lane end, include segregation barriers, and turnstiles into the West Stand area.

I well remember the times before the west Stand was built, and it was only a cover, when people could enter the Lepp and go around to the Kop at any time before, during and after the match, and after the Cantilever was built. I used that end regularly This was in the days when there was no segregation, and crowds often reached 50,000+, and , apart from some pushing and shoving, trouble never occurred. Perhaps this may have had something to do with a much less prominent police presence.

Cant' see how they can't be given the clicker / first come first in thing going on

Are all the clickers co-ordinated. Or is it one Kenny Everett size clicker for the whole stand?
