Liverpool were guilty of giving Sheffield United too much credit. The rhetoric from their manager prior to the game was matched with the performance. He expected an upset, FA cup style when it's David against Goliath and David wins. If Liverpool had shown up as they have done every other game this season, things may have been different - but for some reason they were cacking their pants and I don't get it given the comparable quality on the pitch.
