Either has a go or tries to slyly get it in that it isn't his fault. When they lost to someone other week he said something like 'it wasn't down to tactics'

A common tactic at the top level, use any excuse except the one that it was you that got it wrong. Mourinho was a master at it, for example. Attendance against Fulham was 23k, with about 1500 from London. So 21.5k in the league and 16k in the cup, don't see anything different or unusual with that? 5.5k down, reasonable prices. We've not really got a right to be smug.

Not read back a few pages but who in their right mind would be smug that we got a few extra 1000s when they were playing a league one team, and we were playing a prem team?! Let's see how our attendance compares to their next home game
jamiejohn
Lets be right about the respective attendances 21 and a half with 4.5 thousand Everton at 20 quid a ticket is decent, premier opposition some good players but not top drawer. 11and half against a league one team who are a big team and brought 3k at 10 quid a throw is pathetic. Shows no matter what they say we are still a bigger club
Dan™
They had 14,000 in attendance for a play-off semi final a few years back, they're going to need at least 50 solid years of higher gates than us to be able to claim they have the better support after that travesty of a turnout. Castleford Owl
Still not sold out on the morning of the Liverpool game today. Their excuse is to claim that Wednesday fans are selecting seats to stop them from selling out They just don’t have the fanbase

Imagine the scene; with all the shoes left by the door by the new owners, any protesters will have an ample supply of leather missiles to throw without even having to remove their own. I hope SAG have been warned.

SiJ
It's all about Wilder, isn't it? Good manager and perhaps an even better self publicist.
Whitechapel Owl
I thought I might dislike Liverpool more than the pigs but now they're facing each other I want Liverpool to win 10-0, the heart wants what the heart wants I suppose. Had Talksport on, they keep calling them Sheffield the cretins.
