Hahaha so you’re saying one match can only be described as a massacre if you score 4 goals (regardless of how many the opposition score) and over a season later you get promoted to the Premier League. So the massacre is actually the description of a period of time reflected over around 18 months. You’re really desperate to level the score for Boxing Day aren’t you. Trust that you are not finding the 'bantz' a little tiresome....there again tiresome banter is something that you seem to excel in, the only difference being that I am not repeating the same drivel constantly unlike you Have (it's got a capital btw) a good evening yourself

I’m not sure how many goals make a massacre. It’s irrelevant to the point. The reason we call it bouncing day massacre is because a) the similarities, underdog, 4 alway goals, pivotal to change in teams fortunes. b) you were all bouncing around like halfwits as Duffy scored the third. Nothing needs levelling. The scales have tipped in our favour now.

Right so you aren’t sure how many goals make a massacre, it’s irrelevant to the point.... but your win by 2 goals at Hillsborough was a massacre. Ok. There were many similarities to Boxing Day you say? Indeed you might be right, the hammering we administered on Boxing Day was the catalyst for us to go on and get promoted, your 2 goal win at Hillsborough was the catalyst for you to go on and finish 10th in the league. The similarities are uncanny.

Is this irrelevant to the point because you know a win by 2 goals isn't a massacre? You've waited so long to avenge Boxing Day (and haven't managed it yet) you're having to try and change the definition of a massacre, and let's not even start talking about the biggest ever Sheffield derby that you were totally outclassed in. If you beat our reserves in the 2nd round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy at some point will you class that as the same as an FA Cup semi final win?
Guest The Horse
Typical blunt. No originality. Always using our old stuff. Stole our ground and turned it pink. Stole our nickname cos they were too thick to think up anything new for themselves. Stole our stripes cos once again they were too thick or lazy to think of anything else. Stole our song about boxing day but used it for a match that erm, wasn't on boxing day so the use of the tune doesn't even work in context. Nicked our use of the word massacre for a two goal margin. Only thing original about them is their chip butty song and that's dreary and depressing as fizz, so they actually, probably got that one right for once. Guest HRH
For me to change the definition of a massacre the has to be a definitive description. There isn’t, it’s subjective. But, as we’ve all now agreed on, the goal difference is irrelevant, as it’s the context of the game that ‘massacre’ is referred to. The fact you guys were so sure of yourselves, and we turned up with Leon Clarke and a teenager upfront and pulled your pants down. And that we used that victory as a catalyst to gain promotion to the Premier League. And stay there. And become one of the most talked about team in the world. Bet that stings lads. Wheel out Sean Bean for the inevitable march whilst you're at it. Can’t see the season being voided personally. But if that’s what needs to happen for everyone’s safety then so be it, that’s the most important thing. We’ll still be in the Prem, no matter what. And if it does continue, condensed and behind closed doors , I can’t think of a better placed team to take advantage of that. No one will be more motivated than us.
