Quite happy for Murphy, Reach and Harris  to fight it out for the 2 wide spots each week but as Murphy has only just arrived then he starts on the bench for me. I don’t know anything about Bates but he comes well recommended so could fight it out with Borner.

i think by October time this will be our lineup barring injuries.

Agree bar hutch, sometimes a waste of a sub replacing him, maybe hes better for seeing games out and cover.

Westwood

Iorfa Lees Borner Odubajo/fox

Lee/murphy 65 luongo Bannan

 Reach  Fletcher/rhodes 80 Harris/ff 70

Dawson

Fox

Bates

Hutch

Murphy

Forestieri

Rhodes

Poss subs, lee for murphy (reach probably better dropping back in middle 3 anyway), rhodes for fletch & harris for ff to keep it fresh in attack.

A very good side bar right footed left back, so wouldnt totally rule fox out, yet.

Found this tricky to tbh, think it now shows competition for places.

Went for FF over Reach, still think FF is our most talented player. Reach can just drift through games and you don'ts notice him sometimes, though the goals and assists can't be argued with.

Would also like to see Rhodes given a run of games but its either him or Fletcher, still think we should also use Winnall more.

Haven't even got Bates, Nuhiu, Pelupessy and Fox on the bench. Then you still have Van Aken, Baker, Penny, Thorninley and Jones.

Depth now, players are going to have to play well in order to stay in the team.

We all seem resigned to a front line of Fletcher and two wingers. It certainly looks good from a balance point of view and makes us very strong as a defensive unit (great for away games) but I don't think there's enough goals in that line-up. I'd certainly like Rhodes or Forestieri to get more game time. Either Forestieri instead of Reach (move Reach to left back) or Rhodes instead of Fletcher.

I've been disappointed in Rhodes so far and delighted with Fletcher recently but maybe with that formation Rhodes would get more opportunities to do more of what he's best at - getting on the end of balls into the box. I suspect he'd have put away at least 2 of the chances that Fletcher spurned v Reading. Can Rhodes add more to his game and lead the line with anything like the authority that Fletcher does?

hope we go with this every so often and I hope bullen doesn't turn Reach in to one of the un-droppables.

“Turn Reach into an undroppable”.

Four managers have played him in 130 out of our last 134 league games.

I think you can say he has made himself undroppable.

Magnificent player with a freakish level of fitness and consistency.

Im glad you said it. The amount of teams without him in it is laughable.

First name on the team sheet.

If he has a dip in form then obviously nobody is undroppable but people putting Forestieri ahead of him is a joke. And I’m a Forestieri fan.

Don’t think you lot realise how good Bates is , he will be in the team before long. As it stands team will be what started at Reading with new lads on bench , within next 2 weeks I imagine :

Well if Bayern were sniffing around him in Oct last year, 2 months after he moved to Hamburg, and reports of Juve and Seville doing the same, plus Everton and Crystal Palace both monitoring him, I'd say he is attracting the right kind of company. Whether he can fulfill is the age old question.
