Im not enamoured by his style but to be honest I want someone who can guide the chairman in the market so that we acquire players who will at least match the style rather than waste money like we have previously on players who had zero impact and even took us backward. 

 

We respect mate he was the most backed manager in WBA at close to £75m spent. He and Gerry Francis destroyed our scouting system. Spent record fees on players like Nacer Chadli who he then bombsquadded because in the off season had a knee op he was told  and provided a doctor's note stating not to run for 5 weeks Pulis's pre season was running up a mountain in austria. His replacement all around flap James McClean who hates the English so much he willing to be paid £40kpw instead of turnips from his beloved Derry. Pulis sold our academy prospects for peanuts and left us in debt for the first time since 2000/01

Apologies. That’s where having no knowledge and spending 10 minutes on Wikipedia in trying to argue the case for a manager your are not that bothered about anyway gets me.

Was chatting to a baggy fan ( comedian Karen Bayley) last night and she was saying very much the same. Apart from the shocking football he did a lot of damage. Didn’t want him before that chat but definitely don’t now.

Yep after Megson Dan Ashworth and Every Head Coach from Tony Mowbray to Roy Hodgson put together a system that kept us in the prem for 9 seasons Pulis's hubris destroyed that, because he thought he knew better. It went wrong for him over the end of one season and into the next. Exculding beating Oxford (I think!) in the cup which we almost fvcked up we had a run of 22 winless games just draws and lossses the only thing he has in football is not being relegated. he was sacked when it became almost nailed on. I'm sure he would've walked soon after to protect that
