I don’t see how you can leave Forestieri out

Match winner

I think he will be left out...

Suspect it will be Harris and Reach up top with Fletcher.

I have a good feeling about today.

The sun is out. Breakfast has been downed.

How on earth are the team expected to play after that is served up in the hotel before the game. I reckon Reading have an arrangement with all the hotels in the area to dish that up to visiting teams. Cert home win.lol

Still need a new left back and i'm not convinced about Odubajo or Borner.

Starting the season with Liam Palmer as our first choice left back is unacceptable.

Agree about Palmer. If he does start today think Reading will try and take advantage of that.

Don't shoot the messenger! But it's probably right...

Only one I'm not sure is the Palmer/Fox situation. Palmer did enough to keep it but Fox has been pretty effective in pre season.

Tbf, Palmer was one of our best performers last season.

Ideally, I'd have him at right back, rather than left back, but he can do a job.

Odubajo and Borner haven't played a competitive game yet! Maybe give them a little time...

Unacceptable is a strange word to use.

It's subjective.

For me it's more than acceptable , he was excellent last season.

I agree he was a cracking player for us last season. It’s just the whole playing him out of position.

Look, you have to be a bit concerned having a right footer at left back.

But, as things stand, he is probably our best option.

Fox isn't great and Penney isn't really in contention right now.

Lovely balance in that team.

Ideally a left footed LB of course but nobody could argue that Palmer wasn’t one of our best players last season, and his defensive qualities and work-rate easily give him pole position.

arguably he wen't the same way at Watford. Started out as one of the main men then slowly turned into a super sub. Seems to be going the same way here, when everyone's fit and we play just the one up top these no place for him.  If we go with 2 up then he's a a starter with fletch for me.

Difference is Watford had a bunch of top quality attackers. We don’t.
