I lived in Brighton for 30 years, never met him.

He must be flush, Brighton to Sheffield is a lot cheaper by coach.

It used to take me about 6 hours by train. Taxi to Brighton Station, Train to Victoria, Underground across London takes forever. Kings Cross to Sheffield. Looks like they've done away with the underground bit of the journey.

Good sleuthing Quist.

£48 was the fare I think from memory one way.

Some Pig on Twitter - i'll give em that one :)

#SWFC to announce Chris Hughton as the new club manager on Wednesday. However, Lee Bullen will continue in charge until the 3rd of November as Chris wants to watch Newcastle’s first few games, The Ashes and then the Rugby World Cup.

To be fair if this was happening to them we'd be giving them pelters

It was £5 on the coach if you waited for the special offer. (few years ago now).

I bet Hughton went first class rather than pleb class.

I don't need to worry about it now I left Brighton.

Brighton to St Pancras, St Pancras to Sheffield.

3 hours 43 minutes including 20 minute turnaround time at St Pancs.

It is probably rubbish. Checked with a couple of pals they have heard nothing. All leads so far have led to dead end.

Don’t know why everyone is getting excited why would he travel on a train and then taxi when he drives???

I've got a car, but I go to most away games by train.

Can get train from Brighton to Sheffield in 3 hr 43m - good luck driving it in that time. Or having a drink, some breakfast and a read of the paper whilst you're driving.

Clearly a wind-up.

They spelled his name correctly, for starters.

:duntmatter:

Even though it is most likely a wind up doesn’t mean it’s because the name is wrong.

someone can call it in tell the operator the name then the operator sends details to a driver soooo the operator could have literally just spelled it wrong???  But I still calll bulls milk
