The football world has gone mad!  The money involved in the Premier League is immoral and sensibly much more of the Sky and BT money should be cascaded down the leagues.  As for the players wages, they are truly ridiculous.

The reality is they haven’t run the club correctly

Gutted for the supporters and despise the people in charge who have done it but it’s nobody’s fault but theirs

Players wages or premier league money has nothing to do with it

It does. The premier League is so luxurious that EVERY club now spends more than they can afford. The overspending and stupid wages filter down. I agree that the club has been run badly but there are no options for owners. If they don't spend, the fans hound them for being unambitious, if they do, then what could now happen to Bury becomes a possibility. If the PL was less about money then the gambles taken in the lower leagues would be much less.

Only because owners pay it.

Work within your means or face the consequences.

Football chairmen in this country are ruining the game - no one else.

The buck stops with them every time

It’s a crying shame for the supporters of all clubs

^^^   THIS

And isn't that what's happened to us?   We're in a financial mess and without a ground for the first time since the 1800's because we've thrown money at trying to get into the PL.

I don't blame SKY though.   They've pumped money into the game, and the FA has syphoned most of it off into the FA Premier Lge.  It used to be one TV contract shared between 92 clubs, not separate deals to suit the few.

It's not the fan's fault though is it?

This could easily have been Wednesday a few years ago !

bury blew a lot of dosh last summer got promotion but at high stakes as at best they are facing certain relegation with the big points deduction and lack of players , this could happen to us or any large championship club if there aint an owner who is prepared to pump loads of cash into it. we are totally unsustainable with our wage bill like 95% of championship clubs. its a shame there cant be a wage cap to stop most of these problems.

Bury were given use of Man City's world class training pitch and facilities, for free, with the only condition that they maintain them. They couldn't even cut the grass and so they were evicted. The football world has done plenty to help them out and thanks to some awful ownership, they've gone boobies up.

No, why are we without a ground? Swfc is owned by DC he also owns the ground so what's the issue? Might even help us improve the ground as any expenditure will not come out of club funds.

I think there should be a rule that you cant spend more on wages than what you earn, transfer fees should be exempt from that. it wont ever happen though ,greed is what rules everything these days.

Isn't that what FFP was about.
