I once predicted that when we returned to the Premier League, Lee and Lees would both end up playing for England.

In my defence, I thought we might’ve made it by now.

Top player is KL.

I always thought Lee would be the one in our side to get an England cap one day.

Of our current lot maybe Reach if we get there, at a push.

Surprised he was never picked up by a Prem club in 2015 or 2016. Southampton perhaps. Then again we wouldn't have sold him anyway.

Good news and great to see.

Lee was absolute class under Gray and Carlos, especially during the two play off seasons. It will be a boost having him back, even if he just plays a bit part squad role but if he can get anywhere near his best, he'd be a huge bonus and like a new signing.

He has been out biggest lost.

A player with the intelligence and who understand the rhythm and tempo of a game.

Not to mention the 18 yard box arrival which he is far and away our best at.

Hopefully stay fit, be like a star signing.

Two or three steps ahead of most.

Super intelligent footballer.

Pleasure to watch him at his best.

He just kept getting better and better didn’t he.

Rushed back to fitness too soon unfortunately. How old is he now, 30? Still plenty in the tank yet.

He’s a consummate professional and has gone through hell to get back on the pitch ... if anybody deserves to succeed, it’s this lad

I agree

I’m sure our supporters will show him the love and not expect too much too soon

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

I hate to go against the grain on this, but what a crazy decision this is.

The guy has barely kicked a football in 2 years - we have to move on from relying on players who, even at their peak, were not good enough to get us promoted. He has been a lovely footballer when fit and on form - but his time should be up.
