gurujuan
The thing about this is, why restrict ourselves to loan players from lowly Newcastle There are some tremendous young prospects available for loan, elsewhere in the Premier League It’s all a bit embarrassing
Rogers
We’ll get all the crap Newcastle or other clubs don’t want and pay their wages in the process!

striker
Looks like we asked for Aarons and Lazaar for nothing, with an option for more Newcastle declined so far.
WalthamOwl
Seems like Newcastle told us to fizz off anyway. Can’t say I’m that upset especially if we wanted the 2 loans from last season back.
ozzieowl
I thought what Nixon reported sounded more like a compromise deal from both clubs rather than chansiri demands that the mirror has reported. All a bit bizarre now this.

Guest wilyfox
Demanding players on top of cash is cheeky on DC's part. I'd have thought best he'd get is possibly first refusal on players they decide to loan out, as a sweetener.
Bluesteel
Personally I think the timelines have been mixed up and we asked for this as a bonus before Bruce left as reported in the times (north east reporter). Whether it’s still on the table remains to be seen, would be good if it was.

Guest LondonOwl313
Can't really see why Lazaar or Aarons would want to come back here right now. Lazaar in particular looked like a premier league left back in the few appearances he made, but was injured too much. If you'd been frozen out by a manager and then a new one came in who had signed you on loan 6 months ago, you'd want to stay and at least see if you'd be involved under the new regime before committing yourself to dropping down a division again. Bruce clearly likes them otherwise he wouldn't have signed them or made noises about bringing them back earlier in the summer
