I don’t think it’s unreasonable to suggest that those lads would look to Wenger for guidance.

If we offered one the job he might tell them to go for it but I wouldn’t have thought Wenger would have changed his opinion of us over the last twenty years.

Even after the league cup stuffing. lol

I see GVB as being highly unlikely and he's skewing the poll IMO.

Lots of manager merry-go-round favourites on there seeking another pay day, only one really brave and progressive option in Cowley.

Please pull something out of the hat DC.

We've weeded out the none runners with several polls.

Some have ruled themselves out. Some have taken jobs at other big clubs abroad.

Sob here's the final cut of the popular choices.

Who do you want?

"Popular choices"

Includes Tony Pulis

Even @Tony Pulis doesn't want Tony Pulis

Gary Megson. Love him or hate him  and I don't understand why you'd hate him, unless you are a Blvde.....

garymegson

His Managerial stats at Wednesday were the best in his entire career.

Managed 62

Won 28

Drew 12

That's a 45% win ratio, with the Old Wednesday who didn't have a pot to p1ss in.

Any in his last game in charge of Wednesday he dealt United a mortal blow which took them five years to recover from. Truely a Legend. Megson is the only rationale choice.

Arteta or GVB for me.

Honestly can't believe Holloway is currently 2nd in the poll.  Be careful what you wish for boys.

Ollies stock has always been quite high with the Wednesday.

He was top of our pill when David Jones got the boot.

And that was before he started declaring his love for us!

Many of the others from that time have vanished from the scene though.

Jokanovic. Wasted in Qatar, think he's probably ready to come back.

Unlikely, but so would be arteta or gvb for me.

Going with the younger league model I'd go with cowley or stendel.

I would settle for cook or ollie if they got in sturt gray as defense coach.

Reckon the fans will either be delighted or gutted. Don't think we'll get a 'meh' option.

Don't be surprised if DC brings in a manager from the continent who is rated out of our league. I just have a feeling he is going to go for it this year with a top appointment. Not recklessly but spending money on a good manager who can bring in some cheap quality imports.

He might just want to rub the snakes nose in it.

We don't need to gamble on the next Manager.

Holloway wouldn't be a gamble. He's achieved promotion from the Championship, and in style.

I personally think Megson's style is more effective in this league.

Two many teams think they can play this possession across the six yard box nonsense in the Championship. Now is the time for Megson, to show them the error of their ways.

In all fairness though,  Holloway would be my second choice.

I always hoped Carlos would bring in more hidden talent from Portugal, but after Mattias and Joao it turned into the same old Doyen crocks.

I think the Manager may have to make do with the current squad, which is still over sized.

It's a tough call for Jokanovic. Sunshine and Fabulous wealth, or Sheffield Wednesday...
