I was just thinking how glad I am that we still have Adam Reach.

A few weeks ago it was ‘we’ll have to sell Reach for £15million’ to balance the books. Hopefully that’s gone, at least for now.

Reach has got goals and assists in him, and quietly gets on with the job.

I feel like he’ll have another good season.

Aye. He's getting himself into a nice groove at the moment. Couldn't agree more.

Good, steady player.

Would love to see him get a bit more "Stuck" in though. He has the build for it. Often see him bottle 50/50 challenges.

Thing is with Reach he does not go thundering in just to make a challenge, he tries to nick the ball off the opponent and come away with it under control.  Maybe another way of describing "neshing" it, but he doesn't get injured much

Goalscoring midfielders are gold dust.

He'll be vital to us this season.

Been saying it for a while. The only real proper asset of significant value we have.

Probably our most sellable asset. If he doesn't fit well into a manager's system it might be wise to sell, but if he's going to be used properly, definitely keep.

He's played well in pre-season and maturing into a quality player. Not keen on Alice band though.

I know what you are saying but if we were talking about Pelupessy and this was the issue I would be worried. As it is Reach I am not.

Bit worried fat boy might fancy him for Newcastle. Chansiri would probably ask 40m for him though:Chansiri:

Our best player by a mile.

Does all the small things right, versatile and a game changer. If we don't get promoted this season I can see him moving on to a lower prem team and I'd wish him well.

The one player we have who could play at premier league level. Has touch vision and an eye for goal. Lets hope he is staying.

Agree.

Reminds me of Chris Brunt and I'd expect him to have a similar career.

He's probably the hardest guy to get in the team for me tho.

With our strikers it feels like we absolutely have to play a front 2.

In a 442 he can't really play in the middle, since Bannan is there and we need someone who can balance him defensively.
He can play on the wing, but.. The pace of Obdubajo and Harris feel like major new assets that we'd be foolish to ignore.

So a 532/352 maybe suits him best, so he can float in the middle along side Bannan and a defensive mid.

Westwood

Iorfa - Lees - Borner

Harris - Reach - Hutch - Bannan - Odubajo
Fletch - Rhodes

Could that work? It's hella attacking!

Like Reach a lot but he needs to lose the Alice band.
