How is 4 million quid chicken feed, you absolute melt?

I would read today's Star if I were you.

But as DPP, with your legal nous can you confirm ingredients of a contact.

Vardy was 3 years ago and Chansir's still not learnt his lesson. Out of his depth.

I'm sorry.

You're just rambling now.

Yeah, pretty clear now Chansiri wanted shut and got mugged by Ashley when he sent dosh immediately.

And this was an open goal.

Chansiri wanted rid now...

Ok, you keep making stuff up.

How are things by the way Ben?

Preferred the Tonto username, but each to their own.

Next you'll tell us Van Aken was a better choice than McGuire (£70 million today).

I thought Tonto's mummy said he wasn't allowed on the internet any more because he had been a naughty boy.

And no one's posted the most interesting questions.

Why did Chansiri give Bruce the required permission to meet with Newcastle last week, if he wanted to keep him?

And then to accept chicken feed compensation?

How do you know he gave permission.  Bruce has been talking to Newcastle for weeks

If he did I bet it was subject to compensation being agreed

Because Bruce met Charnley last Friday in Manchester during Owls time so needed official permission, or contract breach.

Of course, his agent may have touted for job for weeks - but then why did club sign Bruce's 3 players which another manager may bin?

Paltry compensation was agreed, paid, now Chansiri's changed his mind ( after an implied contract with Newcastle settled).

He was breaching his contract for 3 weeks if he was talking to Newcastle

You seriously think the club knew he was talking to Newcastle when they signed the players

Probably not if he was talking via agent, why they have em.

Called soccer grapevine. Club should have guessed - he was in betting day after Rafa announcement.

Why we need an experienced footy CEO with nous and power.

I know this opinion won't be popular on here but looking beyond the obvious knee jerk "Bruce is a snake" narrative, why would a manager jump ship from a club where he is loved by the fans to a club where he is already hated and are  favourites to be relegated? A club with a well known toxic atmosphere...

Because they are his boyhood club?

Not buying it.

I'm more inclined to believe that Bruce was unhappy at Wednesday. We already know he had showdown talks with DC about refusing to sell players. We already know he couldn't buy players.

It came out on one of the earlier twitter rumours about his departure that the chairman let him down in terms of promises given.

If we were in a position to get up I don't see him jumping ship.

I know this post will accumulate negs from all the usuals but it's not an opinion currently being aired on this forum which is why it should be discussed.

I do think there were more factors at play than it being Newcastle, and you make some good points. However I think if you look at the Bruce track record then looking after number one is a recurring theme.

What would we have done differently?

How would the outcome have changed in our favour?

Would an agent approach Newcastle without first been given the nod from Bruce?

It seems odd that someone who works for you would take it on his own bat..without even mentioning it

I agree mate. Bruce after that job soon as Rafa quit, reflected in betting.

We must have guessed that.

Preferred not seeing any of them but...mental illness is no laughing matter so we'll leave it there
