A manger to to make the decision once he is presented with a player.our next signings can only be low key fees, risks and punts. Like the piggot at afc Wimbledon. Could work great but financially won’t come back to hit us. We have to sell in this window to balance the ffp next year so a tough gig if bullen gets it

Of course yes, but it will be a tough job for whoever is prepared to take it on Tranfer dealings would be the least of my worries, as we have a team in place to deal with that

Not been that good in the past. Bullen could probably do better anyway.

In the past past, yeah I have to agree. Recent signings seem to make more sense though

Bullen could be the Head Coach if he himself appointed a DOF to do the player search job and allow Bullen to have final decision. He has a good fitness/psychological ? Coach in Strudwick. Perhaps would need help from an experienced assistant like Stuart Gray.

Way he was talking it is almost like he expects not to be replaced with a permanent manager until after the start of the season.

There is probably something in that, and it might be to do with our pursuit of Newcastle through the courts.

Lee Bullen is 100 times the man Steve Bruce is

There are times on OT when I'd like to be able to give more than one up vote.

Who chose them though ?? Finally added sime pace and width . Preseason has actually gone well so far. Morale wise I think Bullen would be great. Needs a good tactician to work with. Is Gray available? ?:Chansiri:

I see lots of trees in the background. Must be Grenosidwalder.

Well done Lee. Learning from a master.

Looking at the recent friendly displays, the players seem to be like the fans, good riddance to SB and fully behind Lee. Makes us stronger.

What a bloke Lee Bullen is. True Wednesday legend. Steps in when the club and players need him the most and conducts himself fantastically.

The only reason I don’t want him appointed is because I’d hate to see any Wednesdayite turn on him if it started going wrong. The man just simply wouldn’t deserve that.

i'd agree with this any respected old player should stay away from this job sheridan and pearson  look how people now view danny wilson and megson  bit bizarre the vitriol

Top bloke and very lucky to have him at the club. Hope he is kept on by the new manager, personally don’t want Bullen to be full time manager but he needs to be kept on in some capacity.

Yeah I thought that also. Hopefully that is not the case though.

There you are Steve... take a look at that interview, look right into his eyes, you might then see what loyalty and decency look like.

Mind you, I doubt that you would recognise it.

Slimy Bruce couldnt recognise himself in a mirror , unless it was a circus mirror

Hearing Bullen and seeing all the players looking sharp makes me excited and focused on that Reading game rather than worrying about the antics of the last week. Add to that the new kit and me trying to be more positive about Chansiri (who I back fully regarding the Bruce scandal) I think the enthusiasm tank is filling up again. Hell I'm so ready for that first game. I want to smash Reading.

It will be like Solskjaer at united.

We will all be like.  Bully's at the wheel.

Then it will all go wrong.

Tbf I think everyone kind of knows that and that's why I'm sure he won't be our manager.

Only problem with appointing bully would be if he failed he couldn’t work for the club again. I’d rather he was here for the next 20 years than sacked after 9 months if it didn’t work out.
