Whether he could get us over the line or not, I'm not sure. But I can't see anyone getting us over the line at present. But if not he'd probably lay the foundations for someone else to, as he did before. If we keep asking £8 million for players like Joao then we're up a tree no matter who's at the helm. So when Jones came in, although the football was very different, the players we had possessed the grit to make it work. As I said above, I wouldn't be against Megson coming in and doing that again. Gary Megson is one of our own. A little respect would not go amiss and yes I would like to see him return as manager. He was poorly treated by MM.
