If the Newcastle move collapses .

Recommended Posts

If the Newcastle move collapses and Bruce asks to withdraw his resignation, would you take him back?

I can't decide.

That would be up to Mr C.

I think Mr C taking him back might not happen.

Nope, shown how committed he is to us and has burnt his bridges now. Get someone who actually wants to be here!

No.

If he had kept his powder dry & the compromise he mentioned between us & Newcastle didn’t happen then maybe he could have continued to work for us.

The resignation (knowing the risk of a deal falling through) is effectively him saying he would rather be unemployed than work for SWFC.

It won’t break down - he is as good as there.  It’s classic Bruce.

..time for all parties to move on and forget about him - I have.

His tenure was so short too, blink of an eye stuff tbh in the grand scheme of things.

I’d need time to think about it.

So someone shows a total lack of respect towards his place of work. He basically breaks his contract of employment and walks out. He states he is off too his dream job and he has arranged to take 2 managers with him. No notice period given by any of the 3. Seriously you need to ask would we take him back ????.

If he agreed to conduct every training session in nothing but a sports bra and spend all of match days dressed as Mrs Doubtfire then possibly.
