And even if we could miraculously land Hughton, what if the PL comes knocking in mid-season? Whoever we get is unlikely to be as good as Bruce. But maybe he'll have a bit more loyalty. shezzas left peg Posted July 16, 2019 Share Posted July 16, 2019 I wouldn't turn Holloway down. Solid British manager with a good track record. Has a promotion on his cv. Good with a small budget. The main one for me is he's a bit like big Ron in a way. He's a larger than life infectctious character that just loves football. Tonnes of enthusiasm and a good man manager. Another plus for me is. He's also very good in the loan market and can spot a bargain which is what we're going to Need. Bruce like jos just looks dour and miserable, no real charisma. Holloway makes you laugh and for those that complain about his style of football, remember Blackpoo under him, they were anything but dour and boring.
