Odds For The New Manager

Won’t sky bet have paid out on Bullen by now ?

I doubt it. Yesterday was a shocking performance and the type which gets a permanent manager sacked. Think common sense tells you it will not have done Bullen's chances any good and he could probably remove hat and coat of managers clothes peg after that one. Sky are always sensitive to issues and they will have known it was an indefensible performance and will have put skids under his chances. They will be wary of big price outsider getting job in next couple of days. Nixon had story and they may have thought could be goer. Think he is pushing old story as surely DC knows Pulis not well liked by fans.

Really wouldn’t surprise me if DC does nothing, we hear nothing from the club and Bullen is still in charge for our next league game after the international break. It really is a poor situation we are in. No team should be 6 games in to a new season and still have a caretaker in charge. We need leadership, direction, but we aren’t getting that from Bullen or DC.

DC has been a brilliant chairman in some respects but in others not.  Other teams lose managers and are sorted straight away, not us, oh no, dithering about, thank goodness it's early in the season there is still time.  Imagine if we had got off to a poor start, we would be near the bottom now!!!

They probably got bored of waiting.

Probably earned a decent crust with Dotty getting employee of the month for August

Every manager will split the fan base IMO. There is no candidate that everyone would be happy with other than the Cowleys but i'm not convinced as a fan base we'd give them enough time to build what they want to. I'd be happy with Cowleys, Rowett (theyre poor form this season shows what a shitshow club they are), Alex Niel. The rest are all very meh

Anyone can make a change. Out of the frying pan into the fire is a change. The point is to make the right change, if it takes a little longer so be it !

What are you talking about he's had more than 7 weeks nearly 2 months to decide who he wants, If he's still not decided then he never will. One thing for sure he cant leave bullen in charge he looked and sound broken yesterday

I can only assume that the wait in signing a new manager is due to Chansiri's preferred choice being in a job

If he is waiting for the managerial merry go round to start, he could have a long wait yet

Our season could be over by the time we get a manager

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

He’s had the last 7 weeks to find the right new manager, apparently over 100 have applied for the job, you really think none of them had better qualities than Bullen. The lack of urgency from him is astounding.

Megson , Dave Jones , Carlos all have better qualities than Bullen !  Would you have them back ???

If if it takes 7 weeks to find the best candidate it takes 7 weeks, you seem to be suggesting we just go and get anyone who’s a bit better than Bullen ?    What’s point in that ?
