Don’t worry, looks like Laszlo’s just started a new job.

Betfair 16/1 for the Tinker Man, 9/1 Fatih Tekke, Van Bronckhorst 12/1

In no particular order. They've still got Chris Hughton 7/4 favourite. Holloway a whopping 50/1....

I'm not fussed about whether it's a household name per se...just want someone who can come in and lift the place.

A Strendel for instance isn't a big name, but you could see him coming in and making an impact.

Probably wishful thinking that we will end up with someone like that though.

But Strendel might have to do a Bruce to get his move

Of the names linked who would you be happy with? Who do you think will be the new manager?

It's far too early to say.

Out of the possible candidates, I'd have gone for Hughton, but apparently that is a no-goer.

If it was me, I'd be pushing for Strendel at Barnsley. Think he would bring some different.

I'd like the Neville's to get it. Very different, good career as a pro. Worked under and with the best....

I'm not one to claim to be ITK but I do know that we've spoken to a very highly rated young manager of a totally different profile to the type DC used to look at. This one wont be happening but I am encouraged because this approach was the exact opposite of the Doyen / Paixao model.

Fingers crossed we get this one right

If it won’t happen can you say who it is?

oh Ffs Zola is now 2/1 fav. Absolutely baffling that he is even being linked. Awful awful manager.

Cant be him. He’d need a new team and he can’t have one.

I know it’s early days and all that, but these odds will be giving nightmares tonight.....

....please DC don’t even consider Zola. He was so bad a Birmingham that he just can’t be a consideration.

With the list of names mentioned I’m at abit of a loss

Monk- bottled it at Leeds. Spent big and failed at boro

Rowett- ok at Derby and Birmingham, awful at stoke. Bounces about quite abit

Stendel. Good season in the pub league. Is that enough?

Cowley. Only managed in the lower leagues, could go abit Danny Wilson when dealing with bigger egos

Pearson and Holloway seem abit like yesterday’s men to me

Zola. Ok at Watford and West Ham. Complete disaster at Birmingham

I’d go with Moyes if we could get him

Please let it be someone highly rated like Van Bronkhorst or Tedesco and they turn out to be decent for us.

The idea of Zola makes me want Jos back

I agree. Would be an awful choice. Would Dc really consider someone who’s last managers job had 2 wins from 24 games? I don’t understand how his odds are so short and he is now fav for the job. Do the bookies know something?
