He then says what would happen if a player resigned because another club had asked for a transfer fee. He said a lot had gone on overnight so that not all facts known. Perhaps you can complain about the fact we only got 4 million for him. I hope we can move quickly to get a suitable replacement. Modern (football) business sucks. Hats off though to DC standing his ground over compo and rightly so. I'd go for someone like Paul Cook or Daniel Stendel. I believe they're both in their final year of their contract. I'd go for someone on the rise, instead of on the decline.
