This hatred for Bruce

I find it disturbing that grown adults would resort to name calling and such childish black and white reasoning over something so ultimately insignificant as a football manager passing through the football club they support. Some posters have tried to highlight such behaviour on the Newcastle forums & within half dozen posts we’re getting the same infantile attitudes being expressed on here. No doubt we’ve been infiltrated by a few pigs stirring the pot, there’s maybe a couple of kids who can’t control themselves but what’s the excuse for the rest of the lunatics who are showing zero ability to keep their emotions in check?

Anybody who doesn't understand high emotion re football...probably is not a real football fan..maybe a passing interest

Football is...was meant to be ..and will probably remain a vent for all the ills that beset you.

You can't run outside..Howl at the moon , screamin'

"Ive defaulted on me mortgage FFS!"...or

"Ive got Diabetes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"The cats just got run over!!!!!!!!"

Its a simple echo of yer angst, you show yer frustration by callin' Fox a f.ooker"

Honestly, when something really serious happens in your life...thye last thing you think of..Is Steve Bruce...unless you are actually...Steve Bruce.

As life plods on , fairly normal....If your situation is fairly stable..You have to shout at summat...with football fans its football

This. Twitter is worse for it and it’s spilt onto here. Why do people have to get so personal about it?

I understand criticism and frustration but will never understand people who call him names and comment on his appearance.

Don’t you see the irony in this? You’ve spent the past few days calling Bruce all sorts. You’re purely speculating too. Do you know why he’s left? Do you know how much money he will be on at Newcastle?

No you don’t. If rumours are to believed he’s actually moving for less money, but bigger bonuses. Hardly greedy if true?

you believe that your dafter than me ,moving for less...yeah right ...ffs

Anybody that doesn’t understand that high emotion at football should stay at the football...probably has deeper issues...maybe should get themselves checked out.

Crock of poo .

The club afforded him unprecedented leeway in allowing him full gardening leave whilst the club navigated a transfer window and a tricky slate where relegation zone was a possibility.

Loyalty and respect not returned.

Yes, Judas Bruce has surprised me.

Overweight? Yes. His belly was part of his defensive armoury.

Disfigured? Definitely. He wears his bent nose like a badge of honour.

But treacherous? No, I never had him down as being that.

Its simply relative to the forum...its football

If this was a bloody food forum..someone no doubt would be layin' into McDonalds....

It doesn't mean everyone has lost their heads over everything...just this particular football subject..on a football forum.

No f.ookers runnin' around the garden shoutin' "Oh Brucie how could you!!"

You speak for yourself......the neighbours have called the police twice.

Wish people would stop saying 'we would all change jobs for more money'. He's on 2m a year, he's not working for 30k a year where another 10k can change your way of life. There are some people who don't put money first.

been called worse on here...does it count or is it relative?

I suppose you’re right.

Steve Bruce should be called a fatty-fatty-poo-face-stinky-flaps-wee-head by fellas old enough to have jobs & bring up kids.

Ozzie Owl. "You see this pint of Hendos, Steve, well you're gonna drink it. Every last drop!"

Bruce. "Oh God man, no!"

Ozzie Owl. "Get it down you, bonny lad!"

Bruce. "You'll gimme diarrhoea, pet!"

Ozzie Owl. "Did you and Ashley have a good laugh when you were discussing personal terms?"

Bruce. "Aggh, mi bowels are movin'!"

Ozzie Owl. "Drink it!"

Yep, but I don’t see how people working through their repressed anger at a game is comparable to sitting in your living room &  calling a man who can’t hear you childish names.
