There was something in the Mirror saying that is what Ashley hopes Bruce will do, as he is unwilling to meet our compensation demands. Not sure if that means he can just walk into the Newcastle job, though. That would be the worst scenario for Ashley and Bruce in my view that would leave him in limbo when the inevitable law suit ensues
Quist
Just carry on as normal. What has happened makes no difference. How many have never looked for another job whilst employed. He has done a good job and did well on Saturday.

He managed us at Lincoln yesterday! Whoop de flipping do! How noble of him to do the job he's contracted to do. Yesterday, he pretty much told the media he wants out. Whether that's right or wrong, who cares. The fact is our manager - the man with the most important job in the entire club - wants out and has had his head turned. There is no going back from that, I'm sorry.
Guest Bulgaria
Hurt feelings? I think your giving him too much credit. Bruce has made it quite clear he would rather be elsewhere, why would you want him to remain? There is no guarantee that he would be successful with us anyway, not exactly pep is he. What better way to go than upset the fans, get them against him and want him out. IF it's the case, hope DC sees through it and sticks to his guns. Quist
8 minutes ago, SiJ said: Think his position is pretty much untenable now. He's nailed his colours to the mast with that post-match interview yesterday. Imagine a lot of those who chanted his name yesterday are feeling pretty peed off right now. We all know he wants out and it is only haggling between the two respective owners which is preventing him from moving on. By doing what hes done, he's not only alienated a sizeable portion of the fanbase, but you've got to think undermined his authority within the dressing room. If things go slightly awry, then it'd be awfully easy to turn around and say: "Well, you don't even want to be here." Best thing for all concerned now is he moves on. You do not live in real world. He is involved in football people move around all the time.

Why is talking about hurt feelings giving Bruce any credit ? that makes no sense whatsoever Does my nut in every little thing about a football club brings waves of anguish I've not seen anyone threatening to never buy another ST if Bruce stays yet .....................a bit disappointed about that as its a particular favourite of mine

Fuzzy logics
In all honesty, I'm not overly fussed whether he goes or stays now. Either way, I just want a quick conclusion the the whole episode so we can move on and focus on the new campaign.
