Top marks to the Wednesdayite giving it large to Bruce

Recommended Posts

We are no one's fallback option.

And to those chanting "Steve Bruce's Barmy Army", have a word.  How about Brucie reciprocate some of our already-displayed loyalty and respect before giving him yet another free pass.

It hurts that Bruce may move on, but so will we. I don't think escalating negativity achieves anything. That guy running up to, and confronting, Bruce at Lincoln reflected really poorly on us, and giving him 'top marks' is a kinda reckless thing to say IMO. I think it's great that the majority of our supporters showed some class when most other clubs' fans would revert to vitriol.

That’s the type of behaviour that allows people to terminate their contracts, just as the Sporting Lisbon players did after fans attacked them at training. ‘Top Marks’ seems a touch childish at best, completely naive to fact it may cost the club millions at worst.

I’m glad it didn’t escalate and that Bruce took it as what it was, a drunken fool.

Those chanting positives are to be applauded, just as the fans left an impression on Bruce at Wembley, if the Cowleys are a target then that only bodes well.

It was never going to escalate, just a little discussion, a clearing of the air.

Contrast that to Villa fans throwing produce.  We look fine.

Thats true, but in my opinion both acts are childish and not representative of the fantastic support our club has. We may not be able to spend any money, we may not have a squad of world beaters but we still have some of the best support in the country. Why tarnish that and put off any potential new managers?

Alright, Danny Dyer, back to bed to sleep it off!

'Giving it large', indeed.

If we are nobody's fallback option, I demand that we only ever interview candidates that have never applied for another managerial post.

We need to take this to the very limits to ensure we get the man or woman who is completely committed to managing SWFC.

Or we could just grow up.

Unfortunately a very decent lad who’s never been in any trouble in his life before had a rush of blood resulting in him making a complete buffoon of himself.

He didn’t get released from the cells until 5pm and is now under a temporary football banning order until a court appearance and the inevitable criminal conviction and full 3 year banning order.

We only want people who are entirely committed to the cause. To this end I suggest that we stop paying players and managers, that way we'll ensure they aren't just here for the money.

Sometimes our fans let down the club big style.

We need to get through this debacle with some class

He should have just started a very angry Bruce rant thread on here.

He might have made himself look like a buffoon (hi SS owl) but at least he'd be watching us fly to the Premier under Houghton.

Sorry it's the first thing that sprung to mind when I saw the title.
