Popular Post trueblue1987
My Grandpa, who is in his late 80's, has really struggled to attend swfc matches last season for various health problems. He has been unwell, struggles to walk and stand and not wanted to go out. Because we were attending a family bbq today and we knew it wouldn't be too busy, he decided to risk it and give it a go. After walking in the ground, he was shattered. He made it to his seat but couldn't stand. As the game kicked off, a bunch of about 10 youngish lads in all the gear turned up and stood in front of us. They were cusing no harm but, like most fans they wanted to stand. Upon seeing my grandpa coundn't see they moved, bunched up and made space so he could. He would've been fine but this small gesture meant the world to him and me. He was able to do what he loves doing. He struggled back to the car and no doubt he was tired but he had that twinkle back in his eye! Whoever you were lads, thank you! It just goes to show, no matter what the ticket costs, who's in charge or how good or bad we're playing, we're all Wednesday aren't we! 21
