Compensation

Ashley has never paid compensation for a manger, but his greatest joy is trolling NUFC fans and they really don't want Bruce so I can see why that makes him attractive to Ashley.

 

Obviously I don't want Bruce to go, especially after the time it took to get him into the dugout etc and the warm words he's been showering us with it'd be disappointing but £5m+ compensation would be ludicrous so that'd be win win.

But would Hector still want to come if Bruce wasn't here? I think Bruce and his management style is a pull for some players.

I still think I would much prefer SB to stay than get £5m compensation, it would be another start from scratch only weeks away from the start of the season, with new players the new manager may not like or want.

Same, really worried about losing the manager and potentially the whole backroom staff (Bullen and Weaver aside) at this crucial stage of the season, we can certainly not expect to be challenging for top 6 if it happens IMO.
