I wouldn’t mind us taking a pop with Cowley if he goes, Potter would have done a good job but that ship has sailed. Obv hughton, but it won’t be pretty.

Not sure why but just had a weird thought pop in my head , bowyer left Charlton didn’t he? Not that I would want him but he will be looking

Bowyer actually fits Ashley's remit probably more than Bruce.

He'd be cheaper, he's played for Newcastle and he's a cockeneye thug from down south.

Think, kinnear, wise etc.. Ashley doesn't have much of a track record of listening to the fans, or giving a flying fex about them either. lol

I'm going to take the dog for a walk in a bit, if I see SB I'll have a word with him.

Don't worry.

You won’t mate. Just passed him at faro airport.

If Bruce was to leave, then we need a manager that is bigger than the club.

Cowley, Warne or people along them lines could not manage the expectation of the crowd or the egos of the players.

Roy Keane, Moyes etc would be the route we should go down IMO.

Chansiri showed Bruce he wanted him, he gave him time and patience to get himself ready. Be an absolute kick in the teeth if he stabbed him in the back and left.

I wish you had left it there (in your head) rather than sharing - losing Bruce would be disappointing but to follow that with Bowyer would be too much to bear!

No one is bigger then the cub.
Once you get managers and players thinking they are you are not going to be successful.

Agree, although I think someone like Keane would be a disaster as he just falls out with everyone.

When you see other teams that have replaced managers recently.

Derby went with an untested but presumably expensive Phillip Cocu after his spells at big european clubs.

Middlesbrough decided to go for completely inexperienced Woodgate.

West Brom must have spent a bit to get Bilic in.

Swansea, like Middlesbrough, promoted from within.

None of the above went for the typical merrygo round of names. I bet some of them would have been interested in Hughton surely. Makes me think Hughton isn't an option.

You crackpot, as if Moyes or Keane are bigger than Wednesday?!?

Maybe so, he is much more experienced now than back in the Ipswich days and early Sunderland days. And lets not forget he has won this league before taking Sunderland from a dreadful position to winning the title.

He hasn't even left, and we've got nobs on here and elsewhere calling him a fool for leaving us.

Can't make it up.

If you want him to stay, don't abuse him.

Not seen any abuse on here towards Bruce at all

The opposite in fact
