Can't DC just price out Ashley, say £12 million or somet, Ashley goes elsewhere and we carry on as usual.. If they don't pay it then they don't want him..How can Bruce's mind be elsewhere to a club that won't pay and don't want him.. It's like me wanting mi ex back but she don't feel same way... carry on as was.

Chansiri can do that but hes shooting himself.in the foot because toon will back out and then it'll take Bruce to not care and have us bottom of the championship before sacking him and having to pay him out

  • Wouldn't surprise me if they shifted their focus to Monk - there is no chance they are gonna pay up for Bruce

They'll drag the Bruce thing out for as long as possible and get a cut rate deal or move on at the last minute and appoint the guys doing training to the gig for the foreseeable. Every day without action is a day we can't make any transfers.

Ashley's calculated penny pinching farting about trolling the Geordies, is not only potentially messing up Newcastle's season but ours too. He's the king of deceitful cockwombles. So, pissed off with Ashley. He should be a politician or just stick to his tacky tat shops and shouldn't be involved in football.

Ashley won’t pay up, DC won’t budge.

Bruce will resign. Just don’t know if this stops him taking the job at Newcastle.

research what he did at palace  where he did the same jordan held out for compo putting him on gardening leave  issue settled later

not ideal at all but we should get someone on standby quick sharp

Geordie fans seem convinced Ashley has done this to further p*ss them off, while on the other hand calling him cheap.

Now would a cheap" chairman spend £5 million on a ruse like that?

Its a contradiction.

We have no idea what has been said between bruce and Ashley, all this guff about him becoming the lowest paid manager in the Prem...It suits Bruces heartfelt "Hometown club" etc b llx to have us believe he's going for less money..out of his "Love" for Newcastle...Its a sham

Suspect Bruce is gonna be thinking out his u-turn statement if this does on much longer

Also suspect Chansiri is still trying to keep him, maybe even looking at selling a player or two on reduced terms like he’s been asking

From Wiki, hope DC doesn't allow it to happen to us, this bloke wants a wire brush up his Ronson Lighter,

Derby enjoyed a strong opening two-thirds of the 2014–15 season, topping the table on three separate occasions and reaching the League Cup quarter-finals. However, after a 2–0 victory over Charlton Athletic on 24 February took Derby to the top of the division, their form nose-dived and they managed just two wins, against eventually relegated Wigan Athletic and Blackpool, in their remaining 13 fixtures. They missed out on the play-offs altogether after a 3–0 defeat at home to Reading on the last day of the season, when a point would have sufficed. The drastic loss in form was attributed by McClaren to injuries to key players, especially striker Chris Martin, although local press also believed that constant speculation linking McClaren to the Newcastle United job had been a contributing factor. On 25 May 2015, McClaren was sacked by Derby.[106]
