The only ones to suffer from an empty ground would be the team. Can't imagine how you get Ashley out in this scenario. He keeps hiring & firing managers who keep the money coming in. Spends relatively little. Even when they go down they come straight back up. Makes you wonder if it's better the devil you know though. Look at Villa after Doug Ellis left. Newcastle are probably the biggest club in that league outside the top 6 sides. They certainly shouldn't be settling for 4th bottom each season. I think if we were an established top flight club like they are then we would think the same. In terms of potential they are massively underachieving IMO.
