We shouldn’t have to if we have a contractual compensation fee. But it all depends if he’s still up for it here after having his head turned. Like the impact it would have on any relationship.

 

This is the key point for me: if there's a compensation fee written into his contract, then that's what it should cost to release him from it. There should be nothing to negotiate, really.

 

I can't see Bruce being unprofessional enough to let his performance drop off he is to stay. After what happened at Villa, he'll surely want to go out on a high...
