According to a tipster ,...... on Twitter.......... with 800 followers.

Hes creatively gathering followers to his tipping feed by jumping on a story with two large sets of fans.

Pretty creative marketing if nothing else cant fault him for that, do I believe he knows anything more than anyone else? If he did he wouldn’t be offering tips to other people he would be sat on a beach sipping cocktails

I'm sure he used to post on here/still does?

Yep me too mate, I’m not like I used to be I would literally spend my last penny on anything Wednesday but having kids makes you change a bit.

It was one one of the hardest times in my business life watching someone get in trouble and not being able to help, he was a sound bloke but as I said it made me realise just how dangerous gambling was,  the pity is if he hadn’t got that addiction I think he could have been very successful probably in any field he had chosen.

I wouldn't even know how to place a bet, a few friends bet on football and they all tell me about their wins but rarely about their losses.   Most seem to bet small amounts so would appear harmless on the face of it.

Darren Bent with some complimentary words

Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “He’s in a stable situation. This season I think they’ll (Wednesday) be up there challenging, they’ve got a brilliant fanbase, got some good players and they’ll be in contention for promotion. Who knows, the opportunity might come around again.

“I think he’s a good manager, I just worry for Steve Bruce that considering he’s only been at Sheffield Wednesday for not even a year.

“I think he needs to get Sheffield Wednesday up there, do what he needs to do at a special club like Sheffield Wednesday, I’ve always liked them, but Newcastle at the moment are on uneven ground.

The first mention about us and not sodding Newcastle and the PL.

And he is spot on.

See, DC is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he goes to get a manager quick, the obvious ones are the unemployed, and say, Hughton doesn't want the job, we are left with mostly crap. If he tries to get a manager who is already in a job, it will take more time, and we miss  some of an important time of the season. Bruce has pretty much f*cked over DC and us here totally.

No clue mate, I mean it's only rumours that Steve Bruce has been in touch weeks ago.  If it is the case I doubt DC was even aware, not something Bruce would tell him because then you get into the murky depths of "tapping up" etc

I would expect people in the murky waters of the agent world to have been aware if he had been speaking to Newcastle.....not a great leap of faith to believe an agent wouldn't be touting his clients to DC.....to be first in the list

The online apps are like the modern fruit machines, when I was a young un I will admit I was silly enou* to throw money in them.

Bit the apps apps now it’s one click and you can be throwing away your wages on blackjack, roulette, online fruit machines, I mean ffs In play betting.

its a serious problem when people are scrambling to put a bet on about when the next corner will be.

I think in. Another ten years we will have a very serious problem in this country with gambling addiction

I work in education and we're already having to get experts in to deal with the issue

Alarm bells should have been ringing when he said he was 'going home to walk the dog',

As  I previously quoted on another thread

"TBH, I think Bruce's dog must be Fkin knackered today,... Manchester, Chester, Hillsborough, Newcastle.... And the emergency vet.."

Not sure mate, like sally says I’m sure he’s a decent bloke, but if he was making any big serious money from punting he wouldn’t be farming out his service for £30 per month, to others.

unfortunately as I mentioned in the previous post watching someone  with gambling problems made me very aware  of just how many people were willing to throw away money to tipsters.

it certainly made me look at people in the casino and bookmarking industry and think about how much misery they are actually living off.

One guy I used to play poker with online  killed himself a few years ago because of how much he lost with betting.

One of the reasons I never gambled really, even though my mental health lends itself to addictive behaviours, is my Uncle was a bookie and from being a kid he always told me that the bookie always wins in the end, theres no real win for punters, small ones to keep em coming back in the hope of a bigger win, but, the bookies are the ones who end up with the money. Wern't wrong, hes f*cking loaded :Sid:

Said earlier on in this thread that this hasn't happened over the last coming days

Low and behold - he's been tapping Ashley up for months way before Rafa packed his bags - giving us all the hype and love in for Wednesday next season and he's leaving us high and dry

Grade A f*cking t0sspot - good riddance, anyone else who wishes him well needs their head checking

Seems to me that SB is a man in a hurry to complete his bucket list. Don't be surprised to see him swimming with dolphins or abseiling down the Great Wall of China soon. I was stupid enough to think that he was a man of principle. I know it's football, but bringing staff in, signing and re-signing players then running away like a divorcee with a boob job is just shoddy behaviour.

Alarm bells should have been ringing when he said he was 'going home to walk the dog', a term used up there for going down the local for a Broon Ale.

Lets hope DC makes Ashleys pips sqeak.

Tbf the players he re-signed and got rid of have helped us out quite a bit. He made the right calls.

If it’s true that he’s been engineering this move while doing pre season, signing and releasing players, and the move falls through we should sack Steve Bruce for gross misconduct.

No put him on gardening leave, fine him 2 weeks pay every week..... let the new man be a success and show Bruce how he could have been a hero
