We haven’t got much money and what money we do have needs to go on players with pace and power. Disagree. We need another distributor. We grind to a halt sans Bazza . Jon Newsome
He's a sitting player who dictates play, so basically he's a Pelupessy type player but far better. Definitely take him on a free.
jomaco
I like him - but one more signing perhaps required, a strong defensive midfielder in case hutch gets injured, I think we have a good squad (also wouldn't say no to hector of course!)

It's painful to see teams doing a job on Bannan and eradicating any shred of creativity from our team. Having more than one route up the pitch can only help us. Having pace in the side might mean we don't have to rely on Bannan as much anyway. We'll hopefully have more outlets to play a long ball in behind etc. Which can be performed by other players than Bannan.
Bouncing Owl
I personally don’t think we should pursue this deal. If we are to bring in a central midfielder, Id rather go for a big athletic box to box player.
StudentOwl
Most importantly, how the chuff do I say his name? Mc Each-ran? Mc Ak-ran? Mc egh-ran? ... Josh?
BarnsleyOwl96
Josh Mc-Eck-ron in terms of how he played can see he wanted to get on the ball and knock it around , has much more passing ability than Joey P, on a free I don’t see why not as a back up. we only have Lee, Hutch , Bannan and joey and we know how injury prone some of these can be. Even if he just plays cup games and is a sub . See what he’s like over next 2 weeks
