( First time for everything) In all likelihood Turnbull will be fine once he's had the op, but it makes no sense to sign someone as they're about to go under the knife and facing 3-6 months recovery time. The big loser in all of this is Motherwell. Turnbull will still get a move to a big club in 6-12 months time, but they wont be able to command a 3m+ fee with him out of contract in 2020.
