Our squad as it stands now....

With the 3 “New signings” our squad already looks too big again even after releasing quite a few. We desperately need to move a few on.

Baker, Fox, Van Aken, and a couple of forwards at least.

Not sure I agree it'd too big.

It'd top heavy, need to be some wheeling dealing to try and move the obvious ones out plus maybe a reach or bannan if the money is too good and let Bruce have a bit of manoeuvre with another 3 or 4 in

To be honest our squad is nowhere near good enough to go up or stay up. Yes, we got close a couple of times a few years ago and Bruce got us firing toward the end of the season. But this squad still needs a lot of work and freshening up to be honest. Difference makers for me at present for our chances is having a manager like Bruce, keeping Westwood and building around the likes of Westwood and Bannan. We still need more pace; more physicality, more creativity and more dynamism.

Regardless of the financial situation, as long as we've got Bruce, we've got a chance no matter what the budget ends up being. You don't have to break the bank, it helps but it can also bring added pressure. At this level, regardless of budgets, it's more about the manager you've got along with the staff he can trust but also about being solid; consistent, dynamic and having everyone buying into the managers way. If we can get some extra quality in on loan to add to what we've already got and some astute frees and bargains. We then if possible, just need to smartly wheel and deal, get a few more out and bring in a couple of players of the quality of the likes of Hector, Morsy and Maddison or similar. To do all that, will take a lot of work and patience and even if we can't bring in everything we need, I still firmly believe we've got a chance whilst we've got Bruce. Hopefully DC will sort things out so that Bruce can get on with it and bring in what we need.

4-2-3-1 could work with the players we have,

Iorfa - Lees - Borner - Bidwell

          Hutch - Bannan

    Reach - Lee - Forestieri

               Fletcher

Palmer - JVA - Thorniley - Penney

           Pelupessey - New

      Oduabjo - New - Harris

             Joao or Rhodes

Defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder to come in.
