Definitely a good player in there somewhere. I imagine it will be difficult getting a cheap deal from the Spurs chairman though.

Yes they want one.. billion.. dollars (Dr Evil)

Joking aside I think it would be a good signing if the price is right.  He was highly rated at Spurs and Bruce probably knows what player he’s getting better than owls fans who saw him have to perform under Jos the clown

There were glimpses of his quality last season, but not enough to make me keen on signing him just yet.

Far too often he seemed to lack determination, which is pretty unforgivable, really.

However, Bruce has worked with him before and must think he can get the best out of him if this is anything more than a baseless rumour.

He's certainly got the potential to do well at this level.

I thought he looked pretty good, then got injured and never really got going again.

Wasn’t he on loan at Villa before us? So Bruce must know plenty about him.

He was on loan at Villa, though Bruce did not take him on loan for a second season hence we got him.

A luxury player not the combative midfielder that we need IMO. Waste of a loan last season and I'd rather look elsewhere if he's going to cost millions.

He'll not be coming here if he is.

Maybe but nobody is quite sure how much we can spend as a result of the sale of the ground and the impact on FFP. Remember Derby reported a big profit!

If you're hoping for that to come to our rescue, prepare to be disappointed.

Not impressed. That hammering against Norwich he looked like someone who had plucked from the crowd.

I know everyone was suffering under Jos but that was one of the worst 1st half performences I’ve seen. Painful.

He didn’t show much promise, interest or fitness so would need to be dirt cheap. Hopefully Bruce can get a tune out of him on a permanent basis as I assume there’s talent there somewhere.

I think it comes down to trusting Bruce tbh....I mean take Liam Palmer..I know it also coincided with Bruce bringing Westwood and Hutch back etc...but palmer looked a different player under Bruce...He was like a new signing...Its not simply the player is it?...Its how the manager actually "manages" him

Who didn't on that day?

We were still in the game at half time. They scored all four in the second half. Onomah was dreadful. Pages 11-13 tell you how badly he stood out...

What this tells me is we haven’t seen anything of onomah that we can expect yet. A poor manager and then injuries gives us nothing to go on but if Bruce wants to Persue this then he knows better than what’s been served to us before

maybe Bruce knows onomahs true attributes and how he can be played maybe Bruce knows onomah will fit in well with next seasons style of play and philosophy and he’s got a major role to play in it and maybe Bruce knows onomahs potential better than us but knows after last season he can get a very good young player on the cheap

or maybe we’ve seen the true onomah and Bruce needs his marbles shaking

Wasn’t that impressed but was played out of position, had injuries and was part of a demotivated team under Jos.

However, if played in a midfield 3 with his remit being the box to box player, I think he will thrive. If Bruce thinks he can get the best out of him, fair do’s. It’s the type of player we need in midfield.
