Popular Post RichieB
Depends what they mean by small fee. If they mean £500k then... If they mean £3-4m then...
Think tank
I’d take it, frees up more wages for Bruce to get in who he wants.
bigash_swfc
Sign of integrity by Norwich. Keep a succesful team together. His proffesionalism does rub off on everyone around him, turned Nuhui into Ronaldo for a short spell
Nut
Doesn't make any sense. He hardly played for them last season, why would they want him in the division above?

"But Owls boss Steve Bruce is a big fan of him, having tried to sign him twice in the past at Hull City and Aston Villa. Speaking to The Star in April, Bruce said: "He is somebody who I have always liked as a player. You look at his goal-scoring record, it’s second to none"If he comes back, then good, let’s see what we do. But I haven’t given it any real thought process just yet and I (won’t do) that really until probably after this weekend." "I can’t see any reason why (he can't get back to his best). He’s a decent age. I can’t see any reason why not."

He hardly played for them last season, why would they want him in the division above? I was surprised when my Norwich supporting mate said they'd be after him, but he averaged a goal every 133 minutes he played for them and he clearly made a good impression down there. They know what they'll be getting and must see him as a decent option to use from the bench, despite the step up a division. If they can get him for a decent fee, then it makes sense from their point of view. I just hope we manage to strike a good deal and don't allow him to leave for a pittance, especially considering that Norwich aren't short of a bob or two right now. TomBee
They're getting £100m, all we're asking for is a tenth of that. Prrrrofit!
fpowl
If rhodes is not going to be starting next year then these are the sort of deals we need to be lapping up far too long we’ve stockpiled expensive players and kept those huge salaries sat not even making our match day squad we need to start getting these players off our books thankfully releasing a load last year has made huge strides into doing this this gives us a rare opportunity to not only get another potential huge earner off our wage bill and recoup some of the money We’ve already recouped some of few we paid for him in the tune of over a million from Norwich In loan fee plus what ever that 6 figure bonus was so anywhere from 3 million I’d say is great damage limitation hes just too expensive to be sat on the bench or in the stands so let’s cut our losses and get this squad balanced selling rhodes and winnal will be a big plus for us and if we can get a disable fee for Joao too this could be fundamental in reshaping our toward line allowing Bruce to bring in his own forward and getting that strike force down to four again. Fletcher forestieri nuihiu New Speed and Power thats some condenced options for us right there
Inspector Lestrade
Makes sense on paper to sell him, I never really saw anything in him in his time here to show that he was going to score a hat full of goals. Seemed off the pace and lost somehow. If he does stay with them then good luck to him, his off-field activities show that he is a dam decent bloke. Should he stay then hopefully Bruce can get him back to his best.
runningaround
Agree with the above post, he’s just too expensive to be sat on. Anything where we recoup a good portion of his transfer fee is good business sense
