Nigeria captain Mikel John Obi has confirmed he will be part of the squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of nations after meeting with coach Gernot Rohr. In an exclusive interview with AOIFootball.com, Mikel said he has decided to feature at the continent’s biggest soccer fiesta when it kicks off in Egypt next month.

Mikel made his international debut in 2005 and now has 85 caps for the Super Eagles, scoring 6 goals in total. His appearance for the Super Eagles in Egypt could, however, be the last for the Nigerian superstar who could retire internationally after the tournament.

This could mean a delay if we want to sign him

Elmahammady first signing anyone ?

He follows Bruce round like a puppy.

Just what we need, more competition for places That would be five players fighting for the right back slot

Would be a good acquisition for me, he’s over 30 now but he caused us major problems with his pace and movement a couple of months ago....
