Our fans are morons. You have just watched the difference in upturn in defence form since he came back and yet still some say let him go.

Just amazing. You couldn’t make it up

I doubt any supporters want westwood to leave and i'm sure bruce doesn't but the contract offer as to be on the clubs terms …..money is going to be tight for the foreseeable and giving in to players demands as got to be a thing of the past …

I was being light hearted to be honest. Something you’re clearly unable to do.

Ogrizovic was working behind the scenes and I’m fairly sure he wasn’t keeping in any capacity any more.

Theres no way all the keepers you mentioned there were as good at their late 30s as they were in early 30s. Perhaps one or two and they all played for clubs able to afford to keep them around either way. There is also a list many times longer of keepers who haven’t got better as they go past 35 and they move down the leagues.

Its the unpalateable truth rather than moronic, but whatever makes you feel better.

I'm quite relieved Oggi isn't coming back to score against us again.

As is Martin Hodge.

He’s shot, third choice at Burnley

No shame being behind Heaton and Pope. 2 outstanding goalkeepers in the PL.

Hart probably has or has had ego issues but he’s running out of clubs to start for now. In my opinion he’d still be quality at this level though if Westwood did go my first choice would be Darlow.

I’d take Darlow over Hart, to be honest.

Don't understand why hed be "quality at this level"

He let's in goals that he could throw his cap on and that wouldn't change just because hes in the championship

He reminds me of a poorer Chris woods in that he has far more England caps than his talent deserves

So has Pickford but he's still number 1. We rave about Westwood but he wouldn't get in most PL teams that's why he ended up with us but at championship level he's great.

Hart would be sound with us but as mentioned in an earlier reply, I'd rather have Darlow if KW leaves.

Joe Hart will be on an absolute ton, are people genuinely serious thinking we`ll go after him?

What at huge wage payers Burnley.

Who already had two other top quality keepers at the time.

He wont be on anything like he was at city.

The look on Hodge's face was a picture!

The looks on the thousands of faces on the kop were somewhat different!

Spot on. He's never been the same since he was diagnosed with dandruff.

Just be on 50 or 60k a week at least. No problem for us!

50k .....

Cant imagine Burnley would have give another keeper having already had 2 good ones 50k+ a week on a two year deal.

Just doesn't seem like the sort of thing that club would do.

And even if he is on somewhere near that. Westwood will be after around 25-30k ish.

So it is possible a deal could be done but probably only on loan.
