Thats true, but the rest of the game he has Tom Lees wiping his ass because hes a supposed CB,then he gets turned inside out a week later by a 32 yr old has been, not once but FOUR times in his own PENALTY area, hes no defender, would Hector have got done like that? Course he wouldnt hed have shepherded him sideways.

If hed done his job Sol bamba doesnt score

Strange as that's the 1 game he looked quality and we could have got somebody special.

I think he should be given another chance under Bruce

if we bring back Hector, him, Lees, Thorniley, and Van Aken might be ok.

Clearly you view him as twice the player of everyone else.

I just think that certain players can turn things around, a young kid moving countries to a league that is faster and better (on average) that he’s used to.  It might take time to adjust.

All of our defence have suffered with confidence issues over the Jos period.

Intially I thought he looked fairly comfortable on the ball and could be good at playing it around at the back and linking with midfield. .

Then he gets injured and has people on his back, I think wiping the slate clean isn’t that bad sometimes.

We’ve paid enough for him to give him a go, otherwise he’ll be a free transfer to someone at this rate.

Like Palmer, Lees and Thorniley do, out and out defenders

YES, BUT they'd have to be 'top notch' defenders, IF your game is built totally on defence then you'd have to be spot on at it. if some silly arsed club is willing to release their bloody good defender 'cos he can't knock the ball around like glenn hoddle, then take him.

but in our present financial position with the 'big bucks' pi**ed up against a wall, we'll likely have to 'wheel and deal' a tad more.

JVA is supposed to be a defender. He has no strength, weak in the tackle, slow and caught out of position most of the time. His biggest assett is when going forward but that by no means makes up for his hopeless defending.

Fans saying give him a chance, not in the championship as we need to set off like a house on fire next season, no time for taking risks.

We never got used to Joost

we bought him to give us a boost

though now he is mainly abused

cos we never got used to Joost

So its rather pain stakin'

to post of Van Akin

the boost he was makin' and such

but the boost only came

in the one bloody game

boostless and useless...an' Dutch?

tbh, the fourth and fifth lines of 'carlos was in a dream' were oft' hard to ascertain, so can't see this catching on. WTF:

Maybe we could mould him into a CDM like Phillip Billing at Huddersfield. He would need to bulk up a bit but as others have said he can pick a pass.

his being able to pass would suit that role, but his gonads would need to grow for the tackling side of the job, too lightweight at the mo.
